\uD83E\uDD14 Problem

Is it supported to run the PeopleSync database in a SQL Server AlwaysOn availability group?

\uD83C\uDF31 Solution

Yes, it is supported to run the PeopleSync database in a SQL Server AlwaysOn availability group for high availability.

PeopleSync Frontend and Backend must be configured to connect to the availability group listener.

Please note that SQL Server logins are created only on the SQL Server instance the primary replica resides on during setup. You must copy these logins to the other SQL Server instances in the availability group, otherwise PeopleSync will not work after failover.

For information on copying the logins, please use a technique recommended by Microsoft, such as Transfer logins and passwords between instances - SQL Server | Microsoft Docs.
