Breaking Changes:

For security reasons, authentication with sAMAccountName only will be disabled by this update. It is recommended to use userprincipalname or domain\username for login from mobile devices.
This authentication type can be re-enabled in system settings, setting: "Enable Authentication with SAMAccountName only". However, it is not recommended.

.Net Framework 4.7.2 is needed to install this update.

Breaking Changes:

If you are using the Database Agent to connect to an Oracle database, please check your agents. We have changed the invariant name of the built-in Oracle driver to "PeopleSync.Oracle.ManagedDataAccess.Client". Please check if your database agent still runs without issue.

If you have installed an Oracle database driver that you want to use instead of the PeopleSync database driver, please create a custom Database Provider in PeopleSync Console with the InvariantName of "Oracle.ManagedDataAccess.Client" and switch your agents to this database provider.

Breaking Changes:

Windows Server 2008 R2 is no longer supported on the frontend server.
This is due to the fact that current PHP SQL Server database drivers are no longer supported by Microsoft on Windows Server 2008 R2.

Breaking changes

  • SharePoint Agent has been redesigned. The list of available SharePoint fields may have changed. Therefore, customers must check the field mapping and list name and must then re-enable the agent.

  • PeopleSync Server website disabled when PHP is in production mode. To display the PeopleSync Server website, PHP needs to be switched into development mode using PHP Manager in the IIS console.
