Crash dumps are needed for analysis of IIS or PHP application crashes. Please create crash dumps when directed to do so by messageconcept support.

When IIS crashes, an event similar to the following can be observed in the server's application log:

Log Name: Application
Message Source: Application Error
Event ID: 1000
User: -
Event Message
Faulting application name: php-cgi.exe, version: 5.4.28.0, time stamp: 0x53613959 
Faulting module name: php_wincache.dll, version: 1.3.4.0, time stamp: 0x4fd7737e 
Exception code: 0xc0000005


Step-by-step guide

 

  1. Download Microsoft DebugDiag (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=49924) and install it.
  2. Start DebugDiag2 Collection.
  3. Click Add Rule.
  4. Select Crash.
  5. Select A specific process.
  6. Enter php-cgi.exe as process name.
  7. Click Next.
  8. Click Next.
  9. Click Finish.

 

After you have configured the crash rule, please wait for the next crash to occur.

Once the crash has occured, please got to the rule's output directory and send the contents to messageconcept support.
