Peoplesync Console Log Empty After Install/Upgrade

 Problem

After installing PeopleSync version 22.2, the PeopleSync Console Log is empty.

 Solution

This is a known issue with PeopleSync Backend versions 22.2.735 and 22.2.746. The Frontend and Backend log size was set to 0 in System Settings.

To fix this, do the following:

  1. Open PeopleSync Console.

  2. Go to “System Settings”.

  3. In the “Other” section, set the following values:

    1. Backend Log max Entries: 3000

    2. Backend Log max Entries: 10000

You may also choose a higher value, but very high values could impact performance of the Peoplesync Console. In this case, decrease the value of these parameters until performance is satisfactory.
